Our customer: Innovative start-up company developing synthetic materials
The objective: The company needed to explore applications of their innovative materials for medical devices. Product ideas needed to be validated through market analyses and development objectives defined on the basis of customer requirements.
Our project: We brainstormed with our customer possible applications and performed detailed market analyses for stents and sutures. With help of medical experts and opinion leaders we gathered detailed customer requirements.
The benefit to our customer: The company was able to optimise their product portfolio and understood their USP in the defined market segments. Our customer was enabled to outline development objectives and focus on product requirements. Risk mitigation strategies were developed to lower project and product risks.

The objective: A successful start-up company entered a new phase in its development cycle. Processes, management tools and structures were insufficient and need to be adjusted to new business requirements.

The objective: The CE mark of the product needed to be prepared.
Our project: The manufacturing process of the product was structured according to functional and regulatory criteria. CE mark strategies were developed and product requirements defined. Detailed company, project and product risk analyses were performed.
The benefit to our customer: The documents presented created the basis of the business plan and strategic and operational milestones. Our findings and experience also supported company presentations and helped to raise further funding.
Financing and restructuring a German start-up
Our customer: A German start-up company developing innovative synthetic materials.
The objective: To win an equity investor to finance medical device product developments.
Our project: We led the worldwide search for investors, prepared the company presentation, carried out the due diligence and subsequent negotiations with the investors. After securing funding we led the restructuring process of the organisation and streamlined the development portfolio.
The benefit to our customer: The start-up was financed and is now worth double-digit millions Euros. The company could focus its development effort on high value medical devices.
